How to start a chat with First Nations AI agent

🔵 How to Write Good Prompts (Chat Commands)

Prompts are the instructions you give the AI.
The clearer your instructions, the better the AI’s response.

1. Keep It Simple

You don’t need fancy words.
Just say what you want:

Examples:

  • “Explain this in simple words.”

  • “Write this for a school assignment.”

  • “Help me understand this topic.”

  • “Rewrite this but make it more friendly.”

2. Add Context (if needed)

Tell the AI what the goal is:

Examples:

  • “Write a Facebook post promoting Indigenous training.”

  • “Summarise this like I’m 12 years old.”

  • “Give me steps I can follow.”

3. Tell the AI Your Style

You can choose the tone:

Examples:

  • “Make it professional.”

  • “Make it short and punchy.”

  • “Make it conversational.”

4. Give Examples (Optional)

AI learns quickly when you show an example.

Example:
“Write something like this but improved:
Technology. Educate. Empower.

5. Break Big Tasks Into Small Steps

If you are unsure, ask step-by-step:

Examples:

  • “First explain what this means.”

  • “Now write an introduction.”

  • “Now create a headline.”

🔵 How to Use Voice Input (Whisper)

Voice input helps you talk instead of typing.
Whisper converts your voice into written text.

Some users get confused, so here is a clear guide.

🎤 Step-by-Step: Using Voice Input

1. Click the Microphone Button

This starts recording.

You will see it listening — usually glowing or showing a pulse.

2. Speak Clearly

Talk naturally.
The AI will turn your speech into text in real time.

Tip:
If you don’t want your voice to keep recording, keep instructions short.

3. PRESS THE SQUARE STOP BUTTON

This part confuses most users.

IMPORTANT:
The microphone does not stop by itself.

You MUST press the square STOP button after you finish speaking.

If you do not press STOP, nothing will send.

4. Review the Text

Your spoken words appear in the chat box.

Check it. Correct any mistakes if needed.

5. Send the Message

You can:

  • Press Ctrl + Enter on your keyboard
    or

  • Click the Send button

REMEMBER:
The message does NOT send automatically.
You must press STOP → then SEND.

🟦 Quick Tips for Voice Input

  • Speak slowly and clearly.

  • Stop the mic before sending.

  • If text didn’t appear — you forgot to press STOP.

  • If the mic stays on, the chat will NOT respond.

  • Use voice for long answers, messages, or storytelling.
